The increase in the homeless population and drug usage in our community is a matter of deep concern, and unfortunately, we have recently experienced a tragic loss due to an overdose. A young man whom we had been engaging with, attempting to provide outreach and support, lost his life to this devastating situation. It is imperative that we come together as a united community to turn this situation around and prevent further loss of life. Each life holds immense value, and we believe that by collaborating and taking action, we can make a difference. To this end, we are organizing a community meeting where we can discuss strategies to address these issues effectively. We invite you to join us and share your insights, ideas, and experiences. Together, we can create a plan that encompasses various aspects of support, outreach, education, and prevention.
