Intensive Treatment Systems has just entered a collaborative agreement with Maricopa County to serve the jail system in doing pre-screenings of individuals requesting Substance Use Disorder or Psychiatric Services. This agreement is important in increasing access to evidence based treatments for incarcerated patients that are transitioning to the community.
Some of the services ITS will provide these patients include Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) recovery support services, integrated care, and opioid prevention awareness.
We are excited to participate with Maricopa County and serve those patients that are in need of support, services, and resources that we can provide to help them get back on their feet.
ITS will identify a release plan for these services for the patient and follow up with treatment upon release. This collaboration is for the greater good of the patient, the community and Maricopa County as a whole. Being in collaboration with Maricopa County is fulfilling our mission of saving lives and providing support to at-risk individuals and we are honored to touch these lives.
